SBMA International Airport

The project involved the rehabilitation and expansion of the Subic Bay International Airport, particularly the runway and taxiways, as well as the terminal aprons, to accommodate jumbo jets (Boeing 747 and MD II Aircrafts), and also in order for the former military airport to meet international standards. The project also called for the design of attendant utilities consisting of drainage, water supply, sewer, and road network and security fence within the periphery of the airport facilities.

SCHEMA was sub-contracted by Sir William Halcrow and Partners International to undertake the preparation of Contract Documents and Assessment of Tenders for the construction of the airport and subsequently commissioned to render construction management services.
